About y Star

Uniquely located next to the historical lead mine village of Dylife, we are a family run business offering a great selection of wines, ales and spirits. Our extensive food menu is created from locally sourced produce to ensure freshness and quality. We welcome all well-behaved pooches in the lower bar who will enjoy walking in the vicinity.

Located on the scenic and well-established walking routes of Glyndwr’s Way and Cambrian Way, it is a perfect stop-over for walking enthusiasts. Cyclists can enjoy No8 Sustrans-approved route, and the The Trans-Cambrian Way Mountain Bike trail and horse riders experience the Great Dragon Ride, William Morgan and the Prince Llewellyn Way.

After an active day, relax in front of one of our wood burners in the bar or the relaxing cwtch area. Y Star Inn also provides horse stabling with 4 acres of pasture, camping facilities and wild camping opportunities. Motor homes are welcome. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout and all rooms have a television and an en-suite bathroom.
